Elwha Heritage Center Opening
Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 8:46PM The "soft" opening of the Elwha Klallam Heritage Center, for invited guests, occurs this Thursday, July 8th at 10 a.m. at the corner of First and Peabody Streets here in Port Angeles. We are thrilled to be a part of the project that has "repurposed" and regenerated one corner of this most prominent intersection. Festivities will continue on the 17th with a public celebration and ribbon cutting. Thanks to the design and construction team and the project committee from the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe who hung in there through all the ups and downs of this complex project.
